Tips for Buying a Violin:  
Size 

When choosing a violin, it is important to get the size needed for the player’s age/height and arm length. Having the right size violin will ensure the player is not only comfortable but that they also develop the correct posture and technique whilst they play. Price

Price is an important factor for most when choosing an instrument. Especially when getting a violin for a younger player who is likely to grow into larger violin. There are many options for violin available for every price range, so you will find something to suit your needs and budget. Even a beginner can produce a good sound quite quickly, which makes the violin such a great choice of instrument. However, even with this in mind, it will require a lot of practice and patience to master the violin truly.

Make Use of Everything Available

There are a lot of helpful free guides, videos, blogs, forums, apps etc., available to help learn and practice the violin. Make sure to make use of them!

There is a whole community of violinists that you can be a part of. Once you start playing, join bands, orchestras, groups, and forums. Not only will you get some great playing tips, but you may even meet some fantastic friends!
